Wensum Park
Location | Norwich, UK
Wensum Park is one of a series of public parks constructed after the First World War. Opened in 1925, it is located along the river Wensum.
Designed by Captain Arnold Edward Sandys-Winsch this park is well maintained and has become home to many wildfowl which you will see walking through the park and on the river banks.
Lakes, ditches and wonderful wildlife habitats attract birds such as grey herons as well as provide frogs, newts, fish and dragonflies a healthy habitat to thrive. The colourful flowers provide nectar for insects and the reeds and bulrushes provide shelter for nesting birds.
